Impact East’s combined waste electrical and metal recycling facilities uses all proceeds from resale and recycling to help unemployed back into employment.

 

The company operates over 5 bring sites and reprocesses the vast majority of consumer waste generated from electrical, household electronics, tools and bicycles.

Impact East was established by the owners of F1 Training to help the unemployed through revenue that can be generated from recycling.

All profits from Impact East are used to help the unemployed. Impact East's membership of the Social Enterprise Coalition is in recognision and in support of social enterprise principles, which it is established to follow in helping adults into sustainable employment.



 

In addition to collecting from local authorities bring sites and recycling parks, Impact East has agreements with many companies, schools and public sector to collect volumes of electrical waste products following computer refresh projects. There are many types of computer equipment that can be reused.


If we can’t reuse it, we will separate it into recyclables to reduce landfill.


Through our main recycle centre in Norwich, we recycle electrical, tools and

bicycles. In our centres in Bedford, Gt. Yarmouth and Ipswich we recycle bikes and collect tools.
